Have you ever tried watching a movie in bed?  or a tv show?  or play a game ?  or even use your laptop to work – while the kid or spouse play a game in your bedroom?  I have – i tried all 3 and what happened?  it does not work!!!!!  no matter what you do – or how much pillows you use behind your back – it is never comfy – and can you imagine laying on your tummy and playing a game – the POOR KIDS!!!  So if you ever want to watch a movie/tv show in bed – you have to consider an adjustable bed.  So we went looking around at some adjustable beds because that’s the only way – the spouse and I can do things together in one room – instead of one in the living room and another in the computer room.   This will in fact save us a lot of money during the winter – whereby you only need to heat up one room instead of two.   Plus really an adjustable bed is the only way one can watch tv comfortably without straining your neck.   So you see all the benefits – save money on heat bills – health issues and spending together time with the spouse and kids.  Yes an investment but i think it’s worth it – what do you think?

For those who are fans of Sex and the City – and watched Sex and the City the movie already – i’m sure you are looking forward to the second movie.  I had actually thought the first movie was the finale for Sex and the City but apparently – we were all wrong.  So when the bestie showed me the sneak peek of it – i just had to stop all my  alli reviews and watched it.   My review ?  so far so good – and to think that Jessica might cheat on Mr Big with Aidan her other boyfriend that she almost got married to but didn’t in the end – well, well, well!    But i must say – i am really looking forward to watching it on the big screen – but i think i would wait for the dvd to come out and then watch it with a bunch of g/fs and have a champagne party – what about you ?

All hell broke loose when ICAC arrested some TVB’s top official including its general manager – Stephen Chan for corruption.   Was I surprised?  nope not really ! why?  because TVB is a huge company and with many subsidiaries – and with so many favors to give to one company or another individual – you all may see it as corruption but as we Chinese say – it’s giving face.   If and unless ICAC had  security camera or a mole in TVB – you can’t really prove anything.

But it looks like as of today – Stephen Chan had been really calmed and he has lots of supporters and friends who calls him constantly to show their support.  On the same note – TVB had given a shut – your – mouth order to all artistes that are currently in contract with them.  It would be nasty if things are proven by ICAC but we all know that a lot of things in the entertainment industry is not actually controllable.   What do you think?  what was the corruption involved..?? money ..?/ gifts..???  houses..?? cars..??  holidays..??  what was exchanged..??

So Shereen Tang is accused of the man snatcher .. and wants to keep tv king – Wayne for himself.  These media from Hong Kong is terribly funny – i bet they can’t get any  health insurance leads even if their rice bowl depended on it – seeing that they are making up these ridiculous stories.   Afterall, you and I know.. that Wayne has such a good relationship with his son and family.  Remember on Father’s Day .. they brought his son to the studio .. to do a special for father and son..??  Doubt that anyone with the right frame of mind would do that..  afterall, you think Wayne is Marcus from Born Rich..??  yes ridiculous..!!!  even though Angie is very pretty and all.. but Connie is no loser wife either.. and she comes from a rich family and all and has 2 loving kids with him.  Nah.. just rumors.. although Wayne loves the rumors.. because he hasn’t had any for 20 years.. since he never was the tv king eh.. !  So newly crowned tvb king is basking in those unwanted attention.. and taking it with a good laugh.. and so is tvb queen .. Shereen Tang.

Born Rich Episode 27 is out for watching..!! woohoo..!! exciting now.. very hor..!  I think there might be a twist in the end hor..??  what do you think..??  follow the birdie.. leave a comment there.. for the synopsis.

Remember Jo Kwon from male group 2AM..??  yes.. ! the one with  the pond pumps, well it’s confirmed that he has the deadly swine flu.  Bummer eh..?? looks like the had a high fever during the last week.. and it got worst.. and had flu symptoms .. after that.  He was then quickly sent to the hoptial .. and was given the swine flu test.  Results showed positive.. and he is currently quarantined… and not allowed visits from his group members. Because of his flu and high fever.. he will not be performing the last weekend.   Jo Kwon is the next kpop singer who is down with the swine flu after Kim Hyun Joong and K.

Rumors have it that Jackie Chan didn’t like any of his son’s ex – all 4 of them because they weren’t pretty enough.  I bet he is the type that don’t go for artificial christmas trees like we all do.  So is Jackie Chan shallow..?? or he is just being playful with his son.. and running away from the girls that he brought back.

In a recent interview with Jaycee Chan, he had said that he can separate sex and love? in which he replied he can.  Guess he is pretty much like his dad Jackie Chan eh..??  Since rumor has it that he actually did father a son with an ex – Ms Hong Kong and actress.

Every year during winter .. most of the Canadians that I know.. go for their  All inclusive family vacations to get away from the cold. We are, of course, no different from them.. and even though some of us go there on a yearly basis .. there is always something new to do for the children and us.

Staying in the right hotel and resort is a very important, and for a foodie like me, the Karisma’s new Gourmet Inclusive concept suits me best. I’m sure alot of folks are like me and love the all inclusive of our packages, for we don’t need to carry alot of cash with us.. and can be stress free from worrying if we might overspend on food. I wonder if it is true..?? this time anyways.  Rumor had been flying around.. about Cecilia Chung being pregnant again.. so many times.. after the sex scandal with Edison Chen .. that this cannot be confirmed if it was true or not.  But one thing for sure is .. if she does get pregnant.. she don’t need to ask no one how to lose belly fat because the gal is scrawny..!!!!

It is said.. she is due in next May .. and the couple have a 2 yrs old son, Lucas … before the scandal ame out.  Cecilia is rumored to be 1.5 months pregnant.. and will be resting at home instead of doing any movies or acting.

LA Arrival is a travel show, with shopping, eating.. and all the good stuff.  I just watched episode 1 and like it a lot.   For those who loves eating, traveling and shopping for good stuff, you know where to go to watch it.  I know for sure.. i’m gonna visit these places recommended .. when i am in LA next.  Traveling a lot means one needs the best weight loss pill , trust me.. i eat a lot when i travel.

Threshold Of A Persona Ep 24 is up for watching..!! woohoo..!!!  just in time for my lunch.. gals..!!  come chat with me about the show eh.  Follow the birdie for those who wants to chat and discuss the show.. !!  At first .. it wasn’t that good.. but now.. i’m getting to like it again.  Ah Jo’s b/f darn evil hor..?? !!!??  but poor Hor Sir may have Mesothelioma cancer at the end of the show.

Earlier “Gossip Flight Attendant” Hilaire Tsang (1) was reported by the Media that when she was a flight attendant she had bad attitude, and “trick” her pilot boyfriend to buy her all these brand name items. Had always avoided the gossips, Hilaire finally responded with an arrogant attitude, looks like besides being a Miss Hong Kong contestant she is the model for the “Hong Kong Girl”. Hilaire stressed that she’s not greedy, the brand name on her are brought by herself and also has a good relationship with her colleagues.  And she also make known that she did not take any diet pills to keep her awesome shape.

“Miss Hong Kong 2009 Pageant” will be held on August 22nd at the fake Hong Kong Coliseum. Yesterday the 10 contestants were in Tseung Kwan O TVB City met up with the Media formally for the first time. Although the quality of the contestants this year are being bombed, but their educational level is high, all the beauties are up to university level. But because of their high level of educational level, more than half of the contestants are 24 or 25 years old, can be considered to be rushing into the competition, catching the “end of the bus”. (Basically saying that they are too old to be in the pageant)

Catwalk so nervous, became inconsistent

Besides meeting with the Media, the contestants did a catwalk show, wearing 5 inch heels, showing off their beautiful long legs. They also changed into many different outfits. However, some were quite nervous. Esther Lam (2) looked like she was marching instead of catwalking, Carly Wong (6) looked like she was jogging across the bridge.

The magazines recently exposed information  about “Gossip Attendant” Hilaire Tsang (1) that when she was a flight attendant, her attitude was bad and would often “trick” her pilot boyfriend to buy her brand name items. Yesterday she was wearing brand names up and down, when she was in the hairstyling house to change her hair, she encountered reporters’ “planning”.

Hilaire accepted  an interview yesterday and when asked what kind of response she has to the gossips about her? She arrogantly said: “Then what do you all have to ask? (A reader exposed that your work attitude is really bad!) Friends that know me, know that I’m not that type of person. (The person who exposed the information is your flight attendant colleague!) I don’t know this person. (Not just one person exposed information about you, do you not get along with your colleagues?) The newspapers said it was only one person, I have an ok relationship with my colleagues.” Hilaire expressed that based on the current report, she doesn’t get vacation leave pay and stressed that her company is very supportive of her participating in the Miss Hong Kong pageant.

Wearing so many brand names, asked Hilaire if she loves brand names? She said: “Beauty, girls always like, it’s not about brand name or not brand name. All the brand name clothing I have are brought by myself, my boyfriend only give me small gifts. (What is the most expensive gift your boyfriend gave you?) A kiss! He treats me very well! Faithfulness is the best gift. (Money brought gifts aren’t the most expensive?) Money can’t buy commitment! Just treat me well then thats fine, give me some flowers!”

Also, Yesterday another reader exposed that Candy Yuen (9) was nominated by Sandra Ng. Candy admitted to this fact yesterday, she expressed that earlier she was the film distributor for Peter Chan and Sandra felt that she had the qualities, so she nominated her to participate in Miss Hong Kong. Sandra accepted a phone interview and revealed that Candy was Peter Chan’s secretary for 2 or 3 years, Sandra said: “Her work ability is excellent, earlier she was selling films. Her personality is mature and is kind. Her appearance is pretty and good body figure, she matches all the qualities of a Miss Hong Kong.”

As for the “Skinny version of Bernice Liu” Sandy Lau (4) turns out to work in England, 3 months ago her father died of an illness, so she had to go back to Hong Kong to take care of her family members. When her father was alive, he supported her to be in the Miss Hong Kong competition.

I just finished watching Episode 9 yesterday.. and feel like beating up Ah Kit..!!!  how can he be so stupid..?? as to do nothing or protect his wife..??  sure she did something wrong.. but come on .. in this time and age.. you really think .. that your wife.. didn’t sleep with anyone else..??  some who are not working gals.. sleeps with more men than those working.  Who is he kidding right..??  I hope Ah Mun.. falls in love with the “triad guy” .. that woiuld serve Ah Kit right..!!  no need to fret over guys like Ah Kit lah..  and Ah Mun no need to get sleepless nites.. and need acne treatments,

And the mother-in-law .. lagi lah.. stylo malo.. asked Ah Mun to leave.. and leave behind the kid .. Hei Hei..!!! can die or not???  I’m a mother too.. i can live without the spouse.. but asked me to live without my kid.. The last 2 days.. it seems all shows are coming out late.  I just found Threshold of A Persona Ep 7 online … but only youku.. and you know youku very lag right..  but nevermind lah..  beggars can’t be choosers eh.  I still prefer the ones on youtube .. or megavideo .. or my space.. but these days.. my space also hard to come by.  Never mind lah.. watch what we can lor hor..??  Nevermind, while i wait for the better quality ones to come out on tv.. i can help someone with their disability insurance.  Might as well .. make myself useful eh.. 

Now this one is new ..??  i haven’t heard about this.. but apparently .. this isn’t new at all.  Eric Tsang apparently was accused of fathering a son with Shirley Kwan. Shirley was a popular singer in the 90s .. if you don’t recall who she is .. but had migrated to Canada.. and given birth to her only son now 7.  Apparently, the kid does know who his father is.. but that was all Shirley Kwan would say.

They said .. the resemblance is there .. but one never really know right..??  but the traveling back and forth from Hong Kong and Canada .. sparked the rumors and it does look like Eric is still taking care of shirley and her son even with their travel insurance quotes.  Oh well.. if they are happy with the arrangment.. who is to say anything right..??

But Eric apparently, in a telephone interview denied the rumors and kept saying no and apparently is quite determine that this will be the last he is gonna have anything to say about it.

Today, Kelly Chen(???) announced in Hong Kong that she would be giving birth to a baby boy.

Wearing a fresh-looking spring/summer long skirt and attending a fashion event, she revealed this piece of news to the outside world.  During her ‘Kelly Chen Love Fighters Concert 08′ on the 18th of June last year, Kelly announced that she would be getting married to her boyfriend, Alex. The wedding was held on the 2nd of October.

On the 13th of February, 2009, Kelly announced that she was already 3 months pregnant. She revealed that she had known about it since the new year.  In today’s event, she announced again that it has been confirmed that the baby she is carrying is a boy, and she has already bought a full array of baby products, including strollers and beds. However, she hasn’t bought any clothes for him yet.

She said: “After both families heard his piece of news, they were very happy.”  When asked if she was going to have a natural birth, she expressed her hopes that he would be borne without any pain.  Kelly’s ancestral home is in Shanghai, and was born in 1972 in Hong Kong. Later on, she went to New York’s Parsons School of Design to study graphic design. In 1994, she returned to Hong Kong and in the following year, she entered the entertainment business.  Now i hear that pregnant woman shouldn’t  be near cats .. i hope Kelly knows that.. since we all saw her with cat supplies during the news report.

I’m planning on some changes to providing movies and entertainment to you whereby you will get to watch the shows you want quickly, therefore i am upgrading my computer memory because i store the movies onto my hard drives and usually don’t delete it, in case i need it in the future.

There are up to 10K visitors a day .. on my good days and even on my slow days, I get like 4 – 5K hits.  This blog is absolutely free for everyone’s enjoyment but even with so many people coming by, I don’t  get as much support as I hope to to keep this blog running (no, i am absolutely NOT,  NOT asking that you donate or give me money).

Having said that, I might switch this blog or move this blog to another platform, so that only 600 people, can get to watch the shows/movies exclusively, that way the cost of running this blog is not so high, plus I don’t get into the copyright infringement issues even though 99.9% of these  shows are not hosted by me.
