I want my own car this summer! why? i feel like a handicap without one – to zip around town with – I have to wait for the spouse to do everything together and sometimes it is really hard – when both of us are working so much at the store. So first I need to get some cheap car insurance quotes and then I can move forward and look for a car – of course – the reason why I need to get my car insurance quotes first – is because I need to get a budget for my monthly spending – I don’t want to buy a car I can’t afford to pay and keep the insurance on right? So yes! some planning is required of course – and then once I get all the information needed – I can then find out where I can get a really good 2nd hand car. I am wondering if I need collision insurance or not? since I am only getting a 2nd hand car – I’ll have to remember to ask about this when I find out about the insurance cost.
I haven’t had a cell phone for many years now because I was trying to be an el cheapo – since the spouse and I are always together – we felt that there is no need for 2 cell phones. But truth be told – i would definitely be better especially when we go shopping and I need to go to Zellers and he need to look for his games – and in between – we can’t find each other – thus making it hard for me to really shop – for fear of missing him – when he is ready to leave.
Anyhow, the reason why i need a smart cell phone is because i refused to pay $20 for a organizer refill – for an old organizer – long story. So I am looking for one that I can keep my schedule into – and take little notes with. The spouse recommended the blackberry phones but I already know that blackberry phones are good for stuff like that. But since I’m so el cheapo – I don’t want to pay a lot for the phone – and yet want the functions that I just mentioned above.
I like the color of this Blackberry Curve – you can go on facebook with this model and send messages and do lots of other stuff – like taking a picture and also watch a video on u-tube. But like I said I needed one that act as an organizer as well – so I’m still searching, so if anyone knows of one that I can get – that don’t cost anything – like this one – then I will definitely want one.
People asked me all the time – why I have so much time to watch movies and tvb shows and write synopsis for them when I have a store to look after and work to do – plus a kid to look after. My secret? scanner software – yes ! scanner software makes my office work a lot easier leaving me with more time to do other stuff. Going paperless was the best thing we did in our office – and it sure secures all the information of our customers – and I don’t have to do filing nor look for a document or index them anymore. Doing it the old-fashioned way – wasted so much time – and not everyone knows about the filing system – so yes the software helped us all at the store – so much ! now i have time for shows – cooking 2 home cooked meals a day for my kid – and yet – share my thoughts about shows with my friends.
As healthcare jobs are plentiful here in this town – and one of the best jobs one can land – I encouraged my long time friend who wanted to go back to school for upgrading – to take a course on healthcare. I don’t know about you – but for those who have children – one definitely can steer them into health are studies. If I could turn the clock back I would too – afterall, taking studies in health care need not be for just nursing – it can be for administrative purposes or even to be a dentist and hygienist. One never hear of a healthcare center going out of business anywhere right? so yes! i would definitely think about a job in healthcare if I were thinking of changing career – what about you?
I don’t know about other women out there – but when it comes to shopping – I only shop when there is a sale on – especially when it comes to a big item. It may not be the season for it – but hell! if i can save 75% on something – like ceiling fans for next summer – I’m gonna buy it in the fall. 75% is a lot of savings! and like I said – even if I don’t use it right now – I know I’m going to have it up and running all summer. But with the smaller items – I’m not so scrooge about it – I say shopping makes me happy when I shop smart and save lots of money to buy other things. You can’t beat that satisfied feeling – when you know you’ve come on top of things – after all, in this economy – every penny saved is a good thing.
For long time reader of this blog – I’m sure you all know that I’m struggling to keep my weight a healthy one and also trying to stay healthy for my kid and family. For the last 11 yrs - ever since coming to Canada – I feel I haven’t taken the best care of myself -and I do miss home – therefore movies and tv shows keeps me going – therefore – I like yakking with fans about the show and discussing them.
But ultimately, I still need to look out for my kid – for she is not even 7 yrs old and for those who knows her – you will know that she is a gift from God. This year I decided that it was time for me to get some insurance for myself – just in case – one never know what tomorrow will bring. Of course, I don’t want anything bad to happen – but given if something does – at least I know my child has some insurance to fall back on. So I am now looking for some term life insurance rates to get insurance for myself but i also want to get the best rates – so I won’t be short-changed either.
I have always known that insurance is a good thing to have – in case an emergency arises – and for the sake of my family – even if I have to give up on my latte every day – to save for my insurance – I think it is worth it. Many people would come into our store and tell us that they are going to start their own business – and we would congratulate them of course – afterall, you cannot but admire anyone who is gung-ho enough to be an entrepreneur. But one cannot help but wonder if they really know what they are getting themselves into? From renting a shop place – a store front to every furniture in the store – the windows – the decor – stationary – barcode scanner , debit card machine, credit card machine – printer, fax machine – you get the drift right?
We have been in business for 11 yrs and every year – there is something to upgrade to keep up with technology and to keep the customer/s happy. One can have a store without the product that the customer/s want – nor can you keep too much in stock – for fear that it would depreciate in value. We all learned it the hard way – and I’m not about to go into detail with those who have all these high hopes – but yes – owning your own business is definitely no easy feat. And for those who are going into it – my advice ? be strong – read a lot – and make sure you don’t use your credit cards for inventory or buying equipments.

Just like Lum Tai – who studied in the United States – who is Hanson’s buddy – who just came back from USA – after finishing school and doing his BA online while on the job. So Lum Tai managed to get the LCD parts for the factory to save factory? So Albert was Hanson’s mother’s first boyfriend!!! revelation eh ! so is he doing what he did because of revenge? And you know how I am, I aimed to please, so much so that I had forgotten all about paying my car insurance. Luckily, my insurance agent sent an email .. and reminded me.. !! “whew” !! Not a good thing to miss paying your insurance.. that’s for sure.
Ever since moving to Canada.. I’m on a quest to constant find tv movies or series online to buy but with buying online, you need to have some international credit cards because they are the only ones that doesn’t charge a foreign transaction fees. Isn’t it strange when they charge $10 or more. . just to push a few buttons. I need not worry now.. as i do have a similar card as well.

So if Sarah Palin becomes the vice president in the future .. that must mean.. that all family must follow Sarah Palin’s believe and support their teenager’s pregnancy..?? wah..!! you would think that someone like Sarah Palin would have a better grasps of their kids’ life.. ?? well prolly she was too busy running for vice president.?? no..??
