Adele from the UK is currently Canadians’ favorite singer it seems – even the girl working at the candy store bought a Cosmo because she was on the cover.  But she is lovely – albeit a bit big – and have a lovely voice – listen to the youtube video – if you don’t know who she is or haven’t heard of her before.  But what I liked most about her – is how lovely her eye lashes are !  long and luscious and to die for – I’m sitting here wondering if she uses eyelash growth products or does she naturally have long eyelashes like that.  Some people do – like my daughter – she does have nice eyelashes but not as long and as beautiful as the ones Adele has.   Most Asians don’t have long eye lashes and we use false eye lashes to extend our lashes to make them look nicer and enticing to both the opposite sex and the same sex.  But false lashes are so tedious and needs a lot of practicing – of course – if you are Wendy Cheng – you won’t have trouble with those false eyelashes for she literally does magic with it.  But I would love to try a eyelash growth product – that is safe – and it’s never too late to look prettier – even when you are 30 or 40.   Anyhow – check out Adele and her long eyelashes – ooops!! i meant her singing.  Oh love how she dress up too

It rains a lot here in Canada especially in the fall – even in the early winter – it rains a lot too – and I had been looking for the right kind of rain boots like forever.  I went to Walmart – I tried online but can’t find anything i liked.  Either the color is wrong – or they don’t have my size or the ones I tried at Walmart wasn’t comfy.  But I just found this online for $32.99 !!!  price pretty reasonable  – unfortunately, they only ship to a USA address – so I have no choice but to mail it to a friend in the states and then get her to mail it back to me.  A bit troublesome but what can I do right?  At times like these I wished i lived in the states instead of Canada.  For those who loved this stomping boots – check out Zulily.com.

I think I might have found the perfect gift for my spouse – a leather and cashmere glove for Christmas!  I have been looking for something like that for him because he needs his gloves to be thin enough to be able to drive in the cold winter but yet – can keep his hands warm when he is out walking.  Big gloves are great for the warmth but it leaves your fingers hard to move and do things.  Love the colors and the way it is made and we all know that cashmere can keep one’s hand really warm – I love it ! and only for $39 – now that’s a steal !   I figured you all have a hard time finding  gifts for husband during special occasion – so I thought I would share this with all of you ladies out there.  Check it out yourself – because I found some really good stuff here.

Maggie Cheung is not named the screen Goddess for nothing – just look at the shoes she was wearing during ceremony to honor her – even though it was just an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Edinburgh.    When it comes to shoes womens wear – I’ll have to say that Maggie has one of the best dress sense.  28 years in the movie industry – Maggie is still as beautiful as ever.  I’ve always liked her even when she first started acting – her features are so unique and of course – what made her more interesting was the French men that she is with – hahha!  But if you are looking for someone who is fashionable – Maggie Cheung is the one to follow – I love how all her shoes are so lovely and fashionable.  If you haven’t seen her in boots – then it’s definitely your lost.

If you asked anyone – who enjoys food most – I’ll have to say – the Asians do – and this Crazy Chinese Woman loves her food even though she can find Asian food around – or any other kind of food she is so used to getting from home.  So the result -?  getting fat lah!   Asians are known to be petite and small build right? and to be fat just makes us very miserable – because there is a very pretty Korean lady living next to me – and she is as skinny as a telephone pole.  So I’m reading up on this hcg platinum and know that I don’t want to be losing weight that drastically – I just want something to help me lose weight gradually and easily – so that I can continue to enjoy all my food.  Did I tell you I hate being fat – it makes me feel so clumsy – and even in a swimming costume – I look like a whale – so I need helppppp!!!  Of course, compared to the Westerners here – I’m not fat – but you and I know that for a Chinese – I’M FAT!!   but what can I do – i love the food and i love my food with my chinese drama !  and I watch at least 3 shows a day – die lah!  if I don’t get some help – I would be definitely obese looking.

I don’t know if it is just the Asian woman or woman my age – but we love our health supplements like a kids love their chocolates.  I take the Vitamin C and D and also exploring with  hgh supplements because I want to stay healthy and have the energy to keep up with my kid and also my work.  What about you all out there?  do you take any health supplements?  are they important to you?  experts said that if you ate a regular diet – all you need is in your food.  But how many of us eat a balance diet right?  i sometimes indulge on hamburgers and ice creams – now how can that be too healthy right?  So yes ! i’m an advocate to everyone who wants to keep themselves healthy and being pro-active about it.  I do pride myself for making the move first – to ask questions and take whatever it is needed to stay healthy.

We had a movie marathon last weekend and it was a 24hrs thing for our family and another 2 family – we watched not only family movies but the kids movies too – and then when the kids went to bed – we adults continued with the horror movies – hahah!  Yes !  my acne are starting to pop up now – and  acne treatments are in order but it is worth it because we had so much fun – not only bonding with our own family – but with our good friends.  Would I do it again?  for sure!!  bring on the acne!  hahaha!!   I have the best acne treatments for them – so no worries !

Well, not really !  but I sure feel like it – and a few years ago – my family doctor told me that because of my BMI – i’m short – so I can easy go from the overweight me – to the obese me – with no problem.  My 7 years old daughter tells everyone that “my mom is obese!”  because she heard what the doctor said.  And even though I am indignant about it- I know I have to be careful – else I would really be obese – then I am going to need the the best weight loss pills to help me – hhaah!!  so for now – I’ve resorted to eating plantain for snacks  – when I am watching tv – i hear they are low in sugar and only 120 calories for 1 serving.  For now – that’s what I will do – but if I ever put on more weight and not maintain – I guess I have no choice eh.

I finally went to get my eyebrows shaped this afternoon – I missed my appointment yesterday because I got so busy doing something for a friend in another business and the store was really busy too.  But i did managed to shape my eyebrows in 10 minutes and wanted to book for a facial but just didn’t want to break my appointment again – so I stopped myself.  So how to get rid of whiteheads without having time to go for a facia l – I feel I don’t have enough sleep – how can I go on about whiteheads, black heads – so I read that you don’t really need to go to a facial shop to get rid of whiteheads – I have enough information to do my own little investigation.  I find that white heads are so much more harder to take out and they are so prominent – mine are mostly under my eyes – so not many esthetician want to touch around that area.  But the esthetician back home in Asia – well, she would get it out all the time before I leave the spa.   So I really missed that a lot – wished I could fly back to Asia just to get those white heads out.

Yes! we have gotten the invitation card from the spouse’s cousin in Moncton – they are getting married  – with a girl from away.  Time to find Diet pills that work fast before May comes – coz’ i need to fit into my cheong sam for the wedding.   I loved to surprise people during formal events by wearing stuff that is chinese and you all know that for anyone to wear cheong sum you need to be really fit!  Yes!!  fit does not even describe how I must look like before the spouse would let me into another cheong sum.  Currently, I’m a bit plumpish so -  i really shouldn’t have been  cramping all those junk food during the chinese new year.   I know I’ve got a bigger tummy now that’s for sure – so diet, diet, diet and more exercises and eating only fish for now till May.  Wish me luck!

Folks here say I have beautiful skin – but truth be told – I’m paranoid about my skin care – the weather here is darn harsh therefore – I had to take extra care of my skin – not only the face but the body as well.   The weather here makes my skin dry up really fast and then flakes of skin comes out and I look like a fish with fish scale.   I try to use different skin product during different seasons – and I read reviews of it before using them.  I also read about  md clear – for its acne treatment and why a combination is good for acne skin.   I like my skin clear and beautiful and in constant search for the best products.

The spouse and I have been going to bed late since the kid started school – even though we know we have to get up as early as 7.30am.  You see the kid had her winter/Christmas break – and that messed our schedule all up – we are spoiled with being able to sleep in late – till almost 9am before heading for work.  So now that she just went back to school – we are still watching movies till late for almost a week now.

Well, you how know what not enough sleep does to your skin right?  Yes !  I see some acne popping out ! darn!  time to look for a good acne solution treatment else I would be scaring my customers at the store away with this big acne popping out my nose soon.  And yes ! we do have to go to sleep early and be good parents – in the meantime – I’m going to get some acne treatment that’s for sure.

Like any smart mom and wife – I only buy things when they are on sale.  You all know how expensive  halloween costumes can get during Halloween – so when I saw costume clearout online – I just had to go look at it – to see if there was a real discount.   And I’m pleased to let you all know that there is a REAL discount – almost half price – for most of the costumes that I see here.

Last year, Chloe wanted to be Hannah Montana and I didn’t buy the costume for her because it was way too expensive – but since it is on clear out now – I think it’s reasonable enough to get it for her.  Like I said – I only buy things when the deal is really good – so Chloe is going to get a surprise this Halloween.

I haven’t been sleeping good lately – therefore my acne is popping up everywhere.  I can’t believe that I’m still haven’t it !! and nothing seems to clear it – i drank lots of water – wash my face regularly and drink lots of chinese soup.  I read about nanocleanse reviews and hear that it is the most effective way to clear acne.  I’m game to try it -  lots of benefit too.  So no more acne please!  once i try it out – i’ll let you all know eh.  Afterall, good stuff must be shared right!

Those who don`t recognize Joyce Cheng  – i don`t blame you – coz`she sure lost a lot of weight!  Awesomeness rightÉ  i wonder what kind of weight loss pills or weight loss plan she used.  But she sure looked a lot different when she first started out when her mother – the famous Fei – Fei was still alive.

Recently Joyce and her ang moh boyfriend Mark Ryan was in the news.  They had been dating for 4 yrs now before Fei Fei passed away. Looks like Mark Ryan is a man of many talent from being a triathlon to a teacher and also a designer and an artist.   Mark don`t seems to want to talk too much about their relationship and want to do what makes Joyce happy.   I do like Joyce – moreso, because of her mother Fei – Fei – whom I have grown up watching her on tv.  I wish Joyce happiness and continue to stay healthy and slim.

I love our marathon movie weekends – but whenever we do the over night movie thing – i have very bad skin problems.  What about you?  I think it’s because of not getting enough rest and eating lots of junk food in the meantime – and the body just does it stuff and show me that it’s upset – hahahah!  So each time after a marathon movie weekend – i end up having to look for natural acne treatments , else I won’t be seeing any customers for a week or so.  Some of my friends have acne at the back of their shoulders – now that’s hard too.  Can you imagine the scars if they don’t take care of it?  No more swimming or sun tanning during the summer !  So love the marathon movie weekend but hate the skin problems that comes with it – but after finding the natural way to cure acne – I don’t have to worry too much.

Some people say that too much tv and late nights causes blackhead – and I don’t if it is true – but the kids – nephew and nieces  – everything you see them – they are right in front of the tv – yes! just like the picture above – it seems.  One told me he needs  blackhead treatment and asked me – if I know anything that can take care of his blackhead.   I took a look at his face and even his back – the shoulder part has blackhead !  my oh my! that boy needs blackhead treatment for sure.   Acne and blackhead combine – i better get him something real fast – in the meantime – I told him to stop gluing himself onto the tv – and get lots of fluid into his body!  these kids!  don’t know how to take care of themselves!

We really have a bad habit that we had  passed on to our kid -  we need to watch a movie when we are eating – or just before going to bed.  Movies! movies ! movies!  we are tv and movie addict !  and because of our late night movies instead of sleeping enough and sleeping well – sometimes we don’t get to sleep good.  A customer at the store read about  melatonin when she found me yawning all the time at the store – and asked me to read it up.   Maybe the shows and movies are disturbing that keeps my brain running even though it is late?  or is it just me – not able to sleep well – because the body is over tired – but whatever it is – I better do something – being so tired just isn’t good for work.
