Kate Tsui rushed to the hospital for some illness, had to check brain & use saline

Using the fighter girl path, Kate Tsui enters the film industry. However, she exchanges her health for three months and she finally collapsed from over working herself. The other day, when she was going back to Hong Kong, she felt dizzy, had a fever and was rushed into the hospital. She became a suspect for the H1N1 flu. In other news, yesterday Koni Lui got into a car accident, fortunately she was alright. TVB beauties are all getting involved with misfortunes!

Recently, Kate was busy filming a Mainland movie (???) for a full three months along with Donnie Yen and Vicki Zhao. Going down the fighter girl path, Kate goes to work everyday fighting so much that she “flies” up and getting bruises everywhere. But she still continues to work at it, until the other day when she was going back to HK after filming ended, she felt dizzy and had a fever. Now, she is suspected to have the H1N1 flu. The doctor at the hospital arranged saline for her and did preliminary tests on her. The preliminary results confirmed that she is not suffering from the H1N1. But there are other rumors that Kate is “growing a snake” (shingles), she expressed through her manager that the results have not been released yet.

TVB Executive Virigina Lok was asked about Kate’s condition, she said: “The doctor said that Kate is fatigue, has anemia and after proper rest, she should be fine. In these 3 months, she was working way too hard, also she has been injured from all the fighting. One time she got whacked on the head and felt a bit dizzy afterwards, when hanging on wires her back skin was peeling off. So, that’s why the doctors were doing all these tests on her, checking her brain and blood. It is not that big of a deal. Kate is actually very strong, before we told her that the fighting scenes will be quite difficult, she was well prepared for this, no complaints.”

Kate revealed through her manager that she had received many calls from friends asking if she’s ok. Currently she is just a bit weak and tired. She hopes that her friends do not worry too much about her. Originally Kate was suppose to attend an event tonight, but because she’s still in the hospital resting, she was absent. Also, the other night she originally was suppose to film the MV to her new song and her debut album release will need to be postponed as well.

When Donnie heard about Kate’s situation, he was really shocked, he felt that because she hasn’t film enough fighting scenes and have to withstand so many big scenes, therefore becoming ill is normal. Also Kate’s costume is quite complicated, when she does her make-up, it takes 3 hours longer than other artistes. He strongly praises that Kate has potential.
