The first step in her plan, “Sympathy and Understanding,” fails, as does the second step, “Nostalgia.” Sophie’s friends invite her out to a party to cheer her up, but she runs into Jeff and Anna. She also runs into Gordon (Peter Ho), a photographer, who apparently has been recently dumped by Anna. She quickly elicits his help in her revenge campaign.
With Gordon, Sophie continues to implement the other steps of her plan. But “Reinvention” fails. So does “Entrapment.” Gordon reluctantly agrees to help Sophie with “Arousing Jealousy,” where they both behave like lovers in front of Jeff and Anna. Finally, something in her plan begins to work: Jeff seems to be jealous. A thrilled Sophie is convinced that the next step, “Search and Rescue,” will be her final winning move.
But Gordon refuses to help, and confesses that he has fallen in love with Sophie, who, sooner than expected, is confronted by a repentant Jeff who wants her back! Who should she choose for true love and happiness?

This is the official movie trailer for Laughing’s Movie!! I think it looks great! The cast looks awesome and storyline looks promising!! It really does feel like a movie with Anthony Wong, Eric Tsang etc in it. I also heard that Wayne has been given a large role in it with short notice due to his success in Rosy Business ^^ Would definitely be interesting to them both in the same movie! (likely both to compete for some TVB award at the end of the year
) I’m also happy to see some more familiar TVB actors in there, like Fala Chen (and anticipating Ron and Sammul’s cameo appearance haha)
I saw a version of this movie just 2 days ago.. albeit it wasn’t the best.. but still .. it was good to be able to watch it online. For more news on this show, follow the birdie.. and leave a comment.

A solid, entertaining and mostly well-cast thriller from some of those Infernal Affairs guys, Overheard manages tension and some surprise – even if it was approved by China. A massive improvement over Alan Mak and Felix Chong’s last film, Lady Cop and Papa Crook. Featuring one of the worst and also funniest performances of the year from Michael Wong.
“Overheard”, starring Daniel Wu, Louis Koo, Lau Ching-Wan and Zhang Jingchu, tells the story of three investigators of a financial crime who wind up embroiled in the intrigue themselves.
The film is co-written and directed by Alan Mak and Felix Chong, the same duo behind the 2002 blockbuster “Infernal Affairs”.
