Tavia Leung recently became an aunt – her sister, Griselda Yeung (what a difficult name to pronounce eh) went into 10 hrs of labor and gave birth to a baby girl.  And guess what this aunt is giving her niece besides jewellery and jade..??  Yes.. an education fund..!! woohoo..!!!  aunts like this are awesome..!!!! why can’t i have aunts like these eh.

Yesterday ambassador Tavia Yeung and a group of VIP guests were at Olympian City for an event to encourage recycling rechargeable batteries. She frankly said that this time she can earn money as well as promote environmental protection. Earlier because she was busy filming and did not have time to respond to the “lights out for an hour”, but she called her friends to support it. Tavia who has always been a strong supporter of environmental protection, besides taking less water baths, she also puts the scripts in the recycle bin, each time she would recycle 20 or 30 scripts.

Also, Tavia had recently become an aunt because her older sister Griselda Yeung recently gave birth to a 7 pound 11 oz daughter, Tavia said: “My sister went through a natural birth, she was in pain for 10+ hours. (What did you give to her baby?) For gifts, I give a good performance. I will be giving her some jewelry and jade and also I will start saving up for her education funds. (Your sister will have a celebration party?) Not sure yet, have to ask if the baby wants to first before deciding a 1 month birthday party.” Tavia also said that whenever she has time, she would go visit her niece, once she carries her, the feeling is like that’s her own daughter, there’s a motherly feel.

Rosy Business Ep 16 is out already .. but I have Rosy Business Ep 16 – 20 (PREVIEWS), for those who wants to watch the previews .. please follow the birdie.  I donch think TVB would be too upset.. if i put up the previews only right..??  afterall, they are supposed to be promotional.. no..??

It is rumored that costume dramas will be banned in Mainland China starting 1st of June, therefore Bobby Au Yeung’s costume dramas “The dream of red chamber” and Journey To The West may not see light in Beijin, Tianjin, Hunan and Jiangsu, although no confirmation was given about it directly.

But Bobby’s manager claimed that she did not know about the ban although she knew that the Chinese government did not encouraged ancient dramas but again no confirmation like the personalized tote bags that i had seen some tvb stars carry for a promotional event.  I was hoping to get ahold of a few even if i have to pay for them.

PS :  Rosy Business Ep 14 – darn kan cheong lah..!!! go faster go watch.  Once again.. the Tai Lai Lai darn sly man..!!!

Hard to believe that Zhang Ziyi would eat with a leg on the airplane seat ..  but not so hard to believe that she had the Diva attitude.  Afterall, her boyfriend is a millionaire.. and French too..!!! plus she is rightfully famous.  Usually quiet.. and not saying a lot .. in most occassion, it is shocking to learn that Zhang Ziyi would ask for instant noodles . .only on a 10 hours flight to London – as per a Japanese air stewardess.  Quite peeved by the actress .. the stewardess decided to speak her mind.. and spill the beans.  I hope .. she gets fired.. for being so unprofessional.   If Zhang Ziyi did what the air stewardess said..  it is wrong of course .. but for the air stewardess to repeat this to the media.. that is even more wrong.  My 2 cents.

We all know that China can be quite Nazis about certain things.  Hell..!! actually they are the Nazis.. in a lot of things.. but who can blame them right..?? afterall, they are dealing with millions of ppl .. all over China.. so they have every right to do what they think is right for their ppl.  And the lastest is to ban those sex scandal stars.. for morality sake..??  probably.. but i bet the Chinese in China.. have some skeletons to hide themselves eh. So who is in the list..??

Of course .. Gillian Chung and Cecilia Cheung .. and Edison Chen.

Tang Wei – acted in Lust Caution – apparently some of the love making scenes were so real.. that some of the Chinese officials thinks that they are real.

It is well known that Tang Wei stepped on the toes of Chinese authorities with her politically controversial and sexually explicit role as the lover of a traitor in Lee Ang’s “Lust, Caution”. Her appearance at the Hong Kong Film Awards was even edited from the Chinese broadcast of the event.

Lost in Beijing Star – Fan Bing Bing also banned because of explicit scents in the film.  And even after many attempt to edit the movie, it was still not good enough for the Chinese authorities .. and the stars were asked to undergo .. some kinda reflection program.. and re-education.   Nazis or not..?

As for Vicky Zhao above.. she had to go wear a Japanese flag for a magazine photo shoot in 2001.  The Chinese and Japanese were upset .. i guess.  So folks.. no wearing of any flags..!!!

Taiwanese actress – Alyssa Chia also got banned because of her high profile divorce with her husband Charles .. who hinted that she was having an affair .. and was said to have take their daughter away.. during the spilt.  So a divorce or a break up . .is not just your problem.. or family problem.. when you are a public figure.  Or is China using this to retaliate .. since they don’t like the Taiwanese either.

Looks like Liu Xiaoqing is also on the list for tax evasion.  Former actress made good in Empress Dowager.

Oops..!! i meant in new series together.  You all know who Wong He is right..?? no need for me to find a picture for you right..??  the one with very narrow eyes.. remember now..??  anyhow.. in June .. they are filming a new TVB series.. called “Cross Boundary Exploration”  Linda Chung plays a model here and the character is actually of a Modern Hong Kong Girl.  I hope it is not the hippy gal she played before nor the crying one.  Linda’s acting has improved over the years.. but she still gotta work on that voice of hers.   Too mousy and squiky for me.

Linda said she feels challenged since she was raised overseas .. and will have to change her demeanor and speech pattern.. but isn’t that what acting and being an actress is all about.  *roll eyes*

If you were missing some of tvb regular series like Rosy Business and Off Pedder yesterday.. that’s because tvb held a memorial yesterday.. thus filming was stopped.

“TVB 512 Show Care Again” (TVB 512????) was held last night, Eason Chan was the lead singer for the opening group song “Every Tomorrow” (?????). The series “Beyond the Realm ofConscience”, “Oh, My Darling” and “Pearl in the Palm” have all temporarily stopped filming, the cast were arranged to participate together in a memorial for the victims who died from the SiChuan Earthquake.

Rosy Business Episode 12 - i know everyone is waiting for this.. but tvb re-scheduled it. .because of the remembering the victims in Szechuan.    So check back later today.. to watch the show in their respective places.  Michele..  Sssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…  !

Looks like Charlene Choi has a better head on her shoulder than her singing partner – Gillian Cheung.  In a recent event in Hong Kong, Charlene will not tolerate two – timing husbands or boyfriends.  Nor does she endorses or condone wife beating husband or anyone hurting a kid or old folks.  So lets hope .. Charlene follows thru’ what she preaches.

Fans of Chilam who had recently won an award in Beijing for Best Actor “Television Movie Best Actor” can expect to see their idol back with TVB in October this year.  So more tvb dramas with Chilam in it.   When asked if he was celebrating Mother’s Day with his wife Anita Yuen, he replied .. he wasn’t his son.. and reporters should be asking his son instead.. hahha!!!

Rosy Business Episode 11 & Just Love 2 Episode 6 was up for watching about a few hours ago.. i haven’t had the time to watch it till now.. busy updating my blogs.  Well, if you want to watch it.. you know where to go.  Just follow the birdie for the synopsis.

Those who loves Ice Queen & Mahjong Queen Faye Wong, would really be happy to know that she is making a comeback.  Apparently, this decision was due to the fact that she had spend most of her retirement fund on her daughter’s recent operation in USA for cleft lips.

Looks like that’s not the only reason .. why Faye wants to make a comeback.  She rather have her husband look after her 2 kids.. than have him spending time at the pub – now who can blame her right. Plus we all figured .. she would make more money than her husband anyhow.  So why not eh.

Ahhhhhh..!! lily Jie exposing herself doing a stunt..!!!  those who donch know who lily Jie is.. can look at the next picture below. Lily Jie is a veteran when it comes to acting in TVB.  While filming with Bowie Lam that required her to roll down a flight of steps.. to be left to die – the stuntman exposes the legs of “lily jie”.  In which .. Bowie promptly shouted “Lily Jie your exposing yourself!” Lily Jie who was next to him laughed out loud: “Hey… please protect my image!”

Lily Jie is an actress that I have lots of respect for.

Just Love 2 Ep 5 was ready for watching since this morning.  But I haven’t had the time to finish it.  But you know where to go.. for the show right..?? yes you ..     You all know why .. you won’t go to other sites right..?? because you know i get the latest the fastest and the best.  Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.  And if you are a true fan, you know what i’m talking about.  Too many cooks spoils the soup.  For the rest.. you know how to follow the birdie. Rosy Business Ep 10 .. i’ve just finished watching.. and it is getting more and more intriguing.. and heart stopping.. ! one thing for sure.. i can tell you .. is that Po Kei (sei lai lai) very the tok kong ..!!  i wished io had her kind of guts and talent lor.  Follow the birdie for the synopsis – will be out soon.
