Synopsis:

It is the summer of 1997, 27-year old Miu starts working as a fishmonger at Fortune Market to pay the heavy debts of her philandering father. She sets a 3-year plan for herself: before she turns 30, she shall clear her father’s debts, leave the wet market, find a man worthy of her and break the spell of her bad karma.

No sooner has she set foot on the Markey than she finds herself at loggerheads with Mr Fish in neighboring stall. A fierce battle of survival is unleashed, only to turn into a mutual entente when the existence of Fortune Market is jeopardized by the aggressive emergence of supermarket mega-stores. Their camaraderie has blossomed into deeper feelings for each other, an unanticipated development that Miu is not ready to embrace.

After years of shunning love, Miu finally comes to an epiphany: criteria, identities and deadlines have no significance ultimately, what truly matters is finding this special someone whom you love and treasure…

Synopsis / Plot / Review
Ji Ling lives with her husband in Taibei, Taiwan. After a crash that killed their young child, Ji Ling is overcome with grief. Not able to forgive the couple who were driving the other car and even more frustrated with her husband’s apparent lack of emotion, she flees to Shangri-la. While traveling, she encounters a young man named Alex who insists on accompanying her as a tour guide. They become close as they travel together but Ji Ling, upon discovering the young man’s secret, feels betrayed and continues on her own. On her way to the holy Meili Snow Mountain she meets more disaster. During the long journey in Shangri-la, Ji Ling finds her own way to face the death of her child.

I had almost given this movie a missed.. because you all know me.. i’m more into the chick flicks.. and not so much the action kinda gal.  Well… i’m glad i didn’t..!!! because this is an awesome show.  You all hear a lot about American gals going to Europe for trips.. or exchange students.. and go disappearing.. and never to be found.  Well, this movie may shed some light to what might have happened to them.  But of course, not all of us is as lucky as Kim ( Maggie Grace) whose father (Liam Neeson) is a special agent with the government .. and has special skills.  I told my spouse that if our daughter got lost this way, we will never find her.. because this movie shows us how corrupted some government agent can be.   Like i said.. it was a pretty good movie.  A definitely must watch.  Follow the birdie to get a preview of it.

The seventeen year-old Kim is the pride and joy of her father, the retired agent Bryan Mills that left the secret service to stay near Kim in California. Kim lives with her mother Lenore and her wealthy stepfather Stuart; she convinces the reluctant Bryan to sign an authorization to travel to Paris with her friend Amanda. When they arrive, they share a cab with the stranger Peter and Amanda tells to him that they are alone in Paris. When Bryan succeeds in contacting his daughter, she tells that criminals have just break in the spot and they are kidnapped by an Albanese gang of human trafficking. Bryan promises in the phone to kill the kidnapper of his daughter and immediately travels to Paris to find Kim and chase the criminals.

Rosy Business Ep 22, Just Love 2 Ep 18 and Off Pedder Ep 155, plus TVB Scoop and Entertainment news are all up for watch.  A few hours ago.. i couldn’t get into the place that i usually watch my shows.. and i thought they too had been shut down.. !! wow..!!! my heart was pumping so fast.  Luckily .. i checked again.. a few minutes ago.. and it’s up again..!!! wheeeewwww..!!! heng ah..!!! so hurry and go watch it.. and follow the birdie.. for the synopsis.   All i can say for now.. without spoiling the show is .. Poor Seh Lai Lai..!!! and Chai gau!!!

Ooopsie dossie.. sorry folks.. forgot to tell you folks that Rosy Business was out for watching real early today.  I got busy at the store…. and then had some online assignments to finish.. and updating my other 30 blogs..   so you can imagine.. why i got forgetful..!   but anyone.. you know where to find it.. and synopsis, you can follow the birdie.

I just learned that Miriam Yeung is engaged..!!! woohoo..!!! now that’s pretty awesome..!!! Miriam Yeung also confirmed that she is getting married in June to businessman Real Ding Zi Gao, according to an Oriental Sunday report.  Rumor has it that she was proposed and applied for leave to hold her wedding. They had been dating for more than a year now.. but only in secret because of Miriam’s popularity.  And everything came out to light because of the happy future mother in law (mother of Miriam)  I bet she must be drooling to drink ..  that son in law cup of tea .. during the wedding ceremony. Looks like the couple will be having a wedding in Hong Kong and Shanghai .. due to the fact that Mr Ding has businesses in Shanghai and his grandfather lives there.  I wonder who she is using for bridal registry .. to get all her gifts from ..??  Some lucky bridal registry ’s  barcode scanner is gonna be real busy I foresee. One can expect the wedding to take place in June .. and more happy news in the near future .. as Miriam plan to start a family soon.  Congrats to Miriam and her spouse..!!
