Yes.. i finished watching Man In Charge Episode 18 – 20 but the last two was in Mandarin.  Have you seen it yet..?? if not.. follow the birdie and leave a comment.

It is really sad.. to see someone as beautiful, young and talented take their own life.. just like that.  Woo Seung Yeon a Korean up and coming actress hung herself in her closet and it looked like she committed suicide due to depression.  Her family said, she took the only way out she knew.. but I simply cannot understand it.  Even for cancer patients, they have  Mesothelioma treatment for them.. so why can’t depression patients get the proper treatment..?  Or is there more to the whole story..??  What about her family..?? her parents..?? i donch know the whole story.. but i know.. that i would be devastated if someone closed to me took his/her own life.

I can really understand.. why ppl loves to watch TVB Scoops .. you do get to see a lot of inside info.. about what is going on .. in the entertainment world.. in Hong Kong.  Plus who doesn’t love a good gossip right..??  I just saw one with Cecilia Cheung and her son Lucas .. in Taiwan.. and her going back to Hong Kong.  It’s funny .. how some celeb .. try to keep it down.. but the paparazzi .. just wouldn’t leave them alone.  Just like Jill Vidal’s case.. where she just got home from Japan . .after being charged for drugs involvement.   I feel for her.. but on the other hand.. 16 BAGS OF DRUGS..???!!!??  oh my girl..!!! what the hell were you thinking..!!!!!

Finally the King Of Snookers is over.  Kinda disappointing hor..??  well i find the story line lame lor.  Hopefully Rosy business is better.  If you want to watch it .. follow the birdie eh.

Now this one is new ..??  i haven’t heard about this.. but apparently .. this isn’t new at all.  Eric Tsang apparently was accused of fathering a son with Shirley Kwan. Shirley was a popular singer in the 90s .. if you don’t recall who she is .. but had migrated to Canada.. and given birth to her only son now 7.  Apparently, the kid does know who his father is.. but that was all Shirley Kwan would say.

They said .. the resemblance is there .. but one never really know right..??  but the traveling back and forth from Hong Kong and Canada .. sparked the rumors and it does look like Eric is still taking care of shirley and her son even with their travel insurance quotes.  Oh well.. if they are happy with the arrangment.. who is to say anything right..??

But Eric apparently, in a telephone interview denied the rumors and kept saying no and apparently is quite determine that this will be the last he is gonna have anything to say about it.

My favorite actor from tvb turned 38 a few days ago. Unfortunately, he had to work on his birthday .. but donch we all ..??   Anyhow.. i heard the the sponsors gave him.. a luggage costing about $1500 .. and it looks like a similar one of Bernice Liu – rumored to be his g/f.  Reporters had asked if they would be using the same suitcase .. for their next vacation but Moses changed the subject and avoided the question.   But since Moses is doing this promotional event on suitcases and luggages .. i wonder if we will see a diet pills reviewed by Bernice..??

Yes.. !! i’ve watched King Of Snooker Episodes 18 – 20 but only in Mandarin version.  You know where to go.. if you want the synopsis.  The ending was quite different.. i didn’t really expect it.  Will write more later… if i have the time.  In the meantime, follow the birdie… for the synopsis.

Myolie Wu & Nancy Wu seeks for a place to sun bath Nude

Earlier Nancy Wu and good friend Myolie Wu traveled to Koh Samui Island, Thailand for a vacation. They got themselves a huge tan during the trip, unfortunately the day before of their return, the tan went away, Nancy said: “Myolie and I already laid on the beach chairs and followed the Sun, we chased after the sun and still couldn’t get he sun bathing we wanted. Joyce Tang teases Derek Kwok’s fire magic trick, ‘What comes around, goes around”

Yesterday Niki Chow, Patrick Tang, Joyce Tang and Derek Kwok attended a promotional event for “The King of Snooker”. Male lead Adam Cheng was absent because he was in Mainland filming for a series. Britain’s Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle may not have made a living from her singing just yet – but that hasn’t stopped her making the most of her talents.

Susan is now a world-wide sensation – but her singing talents first appeared much closer to home.

She told us: “I do sing at church – and I also do a bit of amateur dramatics. I sing everywhere I can, to anybody who will really listen. They would be better off with a budgie though, do you not think?”

“I even performed at the Edinburgh Festival once, on the fringe. I was in a production of Romeo and Juliet. Was I Juliet? I don’t know what I was supposed to be. The tights were an embarrassment. But it was a laugh-a-minute magical for kids”.

If Susan makes it far enough in this competition, however, her audience won’t be school kids – it’d be Her Majesty the Queen! And that would suit Susan just fine.

She said, “Whatever comes my way, I am ready. It would be lovely to sing for the Queen. There would be less of the carry on from me, and more of the singing”.

“She is a very regal lady, very nice, so I would be nice too, and just get up there and give it a bit of wellie.”

And Susan isn’t worried that the showbiz life would send her off the rails like so many stressed-out stars before her. She laughs, “It’s a challenge.  Life is a challenge sometimes but this is different. And I like to test myself”.

Suffering from thyroiditis and depression earlier, Maggie Cheung Ho Yee took a filming break for two years. Last year, she resumed part-time work and hosted ???????. The big challenge may be ahead, as Maggie prepares to film “The Pride for My Husband” opposite Michael Miu Kiu Wai. Maggie said that she is fully prepared mentally and physically in her comeback. She has confidence that she will present her best form before the audience.

Maggie was one of TVB’s most popular actresses and received the Favorite Actress Award in 2003, acknowledging her talent. Unfortunately, while filming the mainland production, “Everlasting Regret,” Maggie suffered from thyroiditis and depression. This forced her to take a hiatus from acting; the audience felt much pity for her.

Many people are worried whether Maggie will be able to cope with physical and mental strain of filming full-time in her comeback series, “The Pride for My Husband.” Maggie said confidently, “Since I accepted this role, it means that I am ready. I believe that the producer and my co-stars will be understanding of my situation and the condition of my my body.”

”My co-star in ‘The Pride of My Husband’ is Michael Miu. If I did not get ill, we would have cooperated earlier in ‘Au Revoir Shanghai’ ??????. Just Want to Enjoy the Working Process

Since recovering from her illness, Maggie’s work attitude has changed dramatically. “While filming outdoor scenes in the past, I tried to avoid using outdoor toilets. Thus I would not eat nor drink the entire day. I had high demands for myself and people that I worked with, such as the make-up artists, hairstylists, lighting crew, etc. Many people felt that I was a difficult person to work with. I did not spare other people, nor did I spare myself. I put myself under immense pressure.”

“However, my health turn a drastic turn. At the time, if there was ‘gold on the ground,’ I wouldn’t have been able to pick it up. Designer handbags were no longer necessary. At that point, I realized you can not be so stubborn in life. You need to look at things from multiple angles. If ‘A’ does not work out, it is necessary to try ‘B,’ perhaps there might be better results. When I go back to the TVB studios, I treat myself like a newcomer and maintain an open mind. I believe that work will be more enjoyable that way.”

Since her health recovered, Maggie wanted to try different jobs to broaden her scope of vision. She accepted a role in a movie and filming is expected to start within two months. However, her new filming projects are an attempt to satisfy her own desires, without the ambition to win awards. “Of course awards would make me happier. This indicates that your work is not bad, but I do not want to dwell too much on awards. Currently, I will just enjoy the process of acting.”

Maggie has become more health conscious now. Aside from focusing on skin whitening, she will set aside time to detoxify her body. “Every night, I make sure to sleep before 12 midnight, to allow my liver to detoxify my body properly. Each month, I will set aside one or two days for full-body detoxification. I will only drink juice and not eat other food. If I become hungry, then I will just go to sleep. My skin improved as a result too!”

While filming ???????, Maggie met and fell in love with current boyfriend, Tsang Anbang, who works in the financial industry. A “Laughing Gor” Film (prequel) to shoot in May and release in August

Laughing Gor’s role has been a hit among Netizens, although in the “E.U.” finale he reappears again, but it still could not satisfy the viewers, as many of them complained. TVB took this into consideration and will collaborate with Shaw Brothers to bring Laughing Gor onto the big screen. The new film will be directed by Herman Yau and is expected to begin shooting in May. The expected release date is in August 2009.
