Recently Nancy Sit has been scheduled for many jobs, earlier she went through a surgery because she did not have enough rest thus suffering from gastritis, and had to be admitted to the hospital again. She stopped working for a period of time already, a few days ago Nancy came back to work. Although she has not fully recovered yet, but yesterday she attended the her birthday party. Nancy met with many of her family members, good friends and fans that care a lot about her. She felt so touched and teared up. As for Nancy’s oldest daughter Yau San, perhaps she has been worrying about her mom’s health too much lately, but when she went up to do a performance she teared up.
Taking off from TVB again
On March 30th, it will be Nancy’s 59th birthday, yesterday her daughter accompanied her to her own birthday party, Nancy arrived at the party and took a rest in the back. Although she maintained her smile, but it looked quite difficult for her. Yesterday many of Nancy’s entertainment circle friends arrived to celebrate her birthday with her, including Joe Ma, Ray Lui, Frankie Lam, Kenix Kwok, Shirley Yeung, Jack Wu and Wayne Lai. There were some students doing dances and singing at the party, they also took a large group picture with Nancy. Nancy said on stage: “I am very touched that there are so many friends supporting me. I will definitely try to stay healthy, so I could continue to enjoy everyone’s love and care for me.”
Afterwards, she expressed that originally she was going to cancel the party, but because the group of fans and students already prepared all the activities, and friends felt that after her going through her illness, they should do something happy, therefore she decided to continue with the party. Earlier Nancy was so ill that even the television station and the crew from her current series were affected. She affected Gallen Lo and Ray Lui because they have to film other series, but they told her not to worry, they would rather fly back and forth to accomodate her. Yesterday good image Gallen Lo also especially rushed back to Hong Kong to shoot one or two scenes with her. Nancy said that she’s able to withstand one or two scenes, but she’s afraid of the results after filming she plans to take some time off from TVB, hope that when the crew is finished filming in Sabah, she will be able to make her official comeback.
Hope to have a longer life
Ths time is Nancy’s first time becoming ill, but this will cause more worries for her family. Nancy’s 90 something year old father would always want to come wach her everyday, he’s worried about his 3 kids. When she heard about her father’s worries, she could not help but get teary eyes. She said again: “Their care makes me feel very happy, I will take good care of my health because I want a good health, so I can continue to enjoy this happiness. Usually when I see the media I would greet them, but after being ill for the first time, the Media constantly contacted me and supported me. I am truly touched.”
It has been said that during the time when she was ill, there was period that she went into a coma, she admitted to this. At the time, she didn’t know what was going on, she only felt her whole body didn’t feel well. She said that actually she got gastritis and the doctor suggested her to rest more, don’t work too hard. She frankly said that currently she still has the infection because recently she has not been sleeping well, can’t do too much. She said: “I do hope to have a longer life, I will take good care of my health!” As for youngest son and daughter, are actually very worried too, but because they have exams, they will have to wait until May to go back to Hong Kong. Oldest daughter Yau San said that her mom is very obedient and stopped eating foods that are too fatten. Not sure if she’s too worried about her mom’s health, but during her performance at the party, she teared up.

This year entering the Music Industry, Kate Tsui earlier had her new song broadcast on the radio. Yesterday Kate attended RTHK for an interview for the first time as a singer, she frankly said that she was a bit nervous. She expressed that she met with a few RTHK DJs and they heard her song. Kate also had to introduce herself. She smiled and said that she feels like she’s going to meet the Board, but from everyone’s feedback, she believes that her song passed the test.
Kate expressed that her very first song is a fast song, later she will do a dance to match with it. Her MV will have a bit of sexiness in it. Myolie expressed that last year’s competition was big, Kate benefits being a newcomer this year. Kate thanked Myolie, Linda and other artistes who led the way last year. “Laughing Gor died! Woo Woo…. did he really die?” Yesterday there were many hot discussions online discussing of the TVB series “E.U.”. Netizens were discussing a scene where Laughing Gor, an undercover in the Triad died. He rushed into the factory where the illegal drugs were stored by Triad leader Hau Gor (Played by Michael Miu) and even sacrificed his life, allowing another undercover Chung Lap Man (Played by Ron Ng) to reach a higher level in the Triad group.
Once the episode was broadcast, Laughing Gor’s role has become audiences’ favorite, as they were impressed with his heroic death. Yesterday Fans online created a section on a forum allowing Netizens to remember the great Laughing Gor, give their final goodbyes to Laughing Gor and to discuss about Laughing Gor’s death. Yesterday at 9pm, there were nearly a million Netizens visiting the forum mourning him. There were also some angry Netizens wondering if its necessary for “Michael Tse to die first?”
A chance Laughing could come back to life
But there were some who said that Laughing Gor didn’t die yet, only pretend to die to fool Hau Gor (Michael Miu). Producer Wong Wai admitted that there is an opening ending, the story never clarified Laughing’s location. Leaving room for “The Academy” series to start a Part 4. Laughing could by all means “come back to life”! Michael Tse said that he is one of Laughing’s fans and that he is very happy to hear that so many Netizens support the role. Unfortunately, Laughing’s death did not reach a breakthrough in the ratings yet, the episode of Laughing’s death only had 30 Points, more than 1.9 million viewers tuned in.
Michael successfully acted out the role of Laughing Gor, his acting is very vivid and has the Triad feel, his acting is well praised by viewers, Netizens concluded that his role is the most eye catching of the entire series, and even made a “Laughing Gor” section of a forum, many left messages hoping that Laughing didn’t die. But last night when the episode aired, the scene talked about Hau Gor wanting Chung Lap Man to kill Laughing, the two were just faking the fight, however Pak Kiu (Sammul Chan) came into the scene, pulling his gun out and shot Laughing’s chest area. Chung Lap Man wanted to send Laughing to the hospital, but Laughing wanted him to just kill him, so Ah Man can further gain Hau Gor’s trust. When the gun shot sound sounded, the scene ended with the two (Ah Man & Hau Gor) leaving in their car, although in the back it was seen that Ah Man showed Hau Gor a bloody Laughing Gor corpse, but in the very end it was never revealed of how Laughing Gor was taken care of.
Michael Tse so happy couldn’t sleep
Loved by the audience, after Laughing Gor’s death, Netizens expressed that they didn’t want that to happen and cried for his sacrifice. Yesterday on Facebook, there was a section for him with pictures and artwork of Laughing Gor. Michael Tse expressed that he is very happy about Netizens loving his role, he felt that Netizens treated Laughing Gor as their friend, sometimes when he thinks of Netizens supporting him, he becomes so happy that he can’t sleep. He said that actually he’s one of Laughing Gor’s fans, it is a role that he really likes to represent. Some say that Laughing Gor didn’t die yet, and the Producer left an open ending for a 4th installment of the series, so he could participate in again? Netizens suggest a prequel for Laughing Gor
The Producer of E.U. thought that the fans making a special section for Laughing Gor is quite dedicated, he thanks everyone for their support. Asked if Laughing didn’t die yet? He was secretive and said that Laughing will appear again in the later episodes, but last night the episode concluded that they were not able to find Laughing Gor’s corpse, leaving an opening ending, allowing audiences to use their imaginations. Netizens suggested to film a prequel of Laughing Gor? he said that the possibilities are not high, if they will make a 4th installment, he does not know. As Laughing Gor died, will the series lose a spirit? He said that in the later episodes, there will be more climaxes, like Hau Gor and Sum Jie (Kathy Chow)’s ending. Sum Jie will die too, Hau Gor will receive his punishment.
