Speaker Sharing

Here’s a little piece of software with a new idea, Share Speaker Player allows you to set up a network where multiple computers share a set of speakers. At first I though, that’s neat. Then I thought, but what’s the point? And finally I thought, hmmm, it could have some potential. Let’s say you have a big collection of music on your computer and someone else in the house wants to listen to it. Rather than copy/move it to their computer, you can simply fire up the Share Speaker Player, choose the songs they want to listen to and send the sound to their computer speakers.

It would also be good for practical jokes, download some loud burping and farting sounds to play at random unexpected times on someone elses computer, hours of fun can be had by all! It could be good in an office environment as well, multiple employees could take turns playing their music through a central speaker system. Of course the practical joke aspect would work well in this setting too. Perhaps the best part of this software is the price, it’s only $19.95 and can be downloaded straight to your hard drive, no need to wander down to the local computer store to pick it up.
