Audio/Video Editing

Our new digital camera takes videos that look a lot better than those from our old one, but the bad thing about it is the size of the video. A 30 second clip used to only be around 8 to 10mb, now that same length clip is typically from 40 to 60mb in size. Videos now eat hard drive space like PB eats chocolate and that’s not a good thing. I’ve been looking for a good video converter so we can re-encode the vids to DivX format so they’d take up less room but still look just as good. I finally found a good one that’s affordable, Blaze Media Pro has a lot of features packed in for a very reasonable $50 price tag. I can use it to rip my daughters music CDs to mp3 so we can put them on the car’s iPod, covert all those big vids down to a more YouTube friendly size and even turn them into VCDs for the family back home.
