Good things must share, share ma right..?  This solar lamp is not only cute.. it also helps you measure your whole household energy consumption..!   Beverly Ng was the one who came up with this brilliant idea..!  And the lights changes color according to how much energy you consumed, making it easy to understand .. when you have to conserve energy.

This spark lamp was especially created for Sweden’s effort to control energy consumption and to monitor the consumption via the internet.  Using it is so simple and during day time.. you can flip the lamp upside down and place it next to the window for charging it up.  At night.. you then turn the lamp upright .. switch on and it turns color according to your home’s energy consumption.   I really think that this is a great gadget to get .. to teach our kids to save energy.   I don’t know how much it is.. but i’ll definitely check back to see if we can buy it or not.

Andre Haines is multi-disciplined artist living in Martins River Nova Scotia. He not only sings, performs but paints and is currently in town for a project with the Rodd Colony Hotel.   He’s amusing, funny and has an awesome personality.  Unlike many talented artists that I’ve met before, he has no airs and definitely no DIVA like tantrums.

He is also a qualified voice teacher and has been teaching and performing for more than 25 yrs.  Graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, NYC. And if you are into the arty farty stuff.. Andre Haines was King Herrod in Les Miserable at the Neptune Theatre and his repertoire includes a lot more.
