Based on a true story.. it was quite a watch. Tom Hank and Julia Roberts partnering in this movie about a Congressman - bachelor from Texas.. and has very pretty girls all around him. At first.. he seems like a not so good congressman.. but it turned out that Charlie Wilson had a deep sense of patriotism.

Joanne Herring played by Julia Roberts is not only friend and lover to Charlie.. she is also wealthy in her own rights.. and anti-communist. A catalyst .. to what happened that saved the Afghan from the Soviet’s attacked.. Joanne pushed Charlie into helping the Afghan freedom fighters.

From a mere $5milllion.. he raised.. $500 million for them. Of course not forgetting the very ugly looking CIA agent.. Gus.. who might be ugly.. but he is portrayed to have quite a brain. A must watch.. good to know more about the american history.. and who or what moved the ppl.

Father’s Day is over .. and of course.. as usual.. i don’t really know what i should buy for the spouse.  In the hand .. i chose a Razor & Shaving set .. from Rubis as i know he will use it every other day.  But isn’t it ironic.. that we should be giving presents.. and not our kids..??

This i definitely need to buy for my brat. Because not all restaurants and fast food are child friendly at all. And that suxs… for being a kid.. and eating out. Eating at Grammie’s would be easy too.. if i bought this for the brat. It is light weight.. foam fitting.. and looks like the yellow pages.. but alot kinder on the bum. When my brat was a baby.. i’ve often wonder if i should get something to protect her eyes.. because it gets some sunny out.. especially when we are driving in the car.. and the sun can sometimes bugged her alot. Now you can buy sunglasses for babies.. and these shades are designed especially for your precious. And guess what . .they come with maximum UV protection. The man thinks that i’m a clean freak.. because i insist on cleaning the carpets.. and the dust in the house. Little does he know that i had a maid to do it for me .. every weekend. .when i was home in Singapore. I hate cleaning..!! but because of my daughter.. the love of my life.. i have no choice.. but to keep the house as clean as possible… when she was much younger.

These days.. since she is already 4 yrs old.. and our bulky vacuum is so darn heavy.. and also uses a bag .. that we have to specially order from Sears .. i try not to vacuum too often.. so that we don’t have to keep buying so many bags. Other times .. when i don’t want to clean.. i make the man do it.. by telling him .. i’m having PMS .. muahahhah!! my mother taught me to be smart… never order the man to do your housework.. but rather.. play the damsel in distress.

But seriously the reason why i don’t vacuum everyday now is because that bulky thing of a vacuum really cost us alot of money in power/electricity. So for non-carpeted areas .. i put on a clean sheet of cleaner from Dollarama.. and make the kid play with it.. and clean the house. Another thing my mother taught me.. “we asians.. believe in child-labour!”

I watched this movie last nite while putting my brat to bed.. and I must say .. i would only watched movies like these because I am a big fan of Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. The movie revolves around England and during the time where the King can even bed a woman who is married already.. because the King fancies her.. and the husband cannot do anything about it. Sad as it is.. and bizarre .. when i was watching it, this movie is quite interesting. Basically, Natalie played the older sister who is very ambitious.. and didn’t get what she want.. in this case the king.. so she plot to take revenge on her sister.. who had wanted nothing to do with the King.. but in the end bore him a son. Unfortunately, the King is a man full of lust.. and didn’t even visit his newborn .. when he came out of his mother’s womb… all because he wants to please another woman. The story goes on to say that Natalie Portman wants to be the Queen.. and wants the King to divorce .. before sleeping with him. Watch it.. ! interesting..!

I never thought i would see Dr Phil divorcing his wife in this lifetime of mine .. afterall .. this couple display the very and every essence of a perfect marriage and home. 2 great sons.. a beautiful home.. and a gorgeous looking wife. But I saw on the newstand tonite.. that Dr Phil is giving everything to his wife.. JUST to keep his secrets..! wow..!! Dr Phil got so many things to hide..?? where’s the good advice you dished out.. every other day . .on TV.. Dr Phil..?? can’t you take a page or two .. from your books..??

When you have as many blogs as we do, you kind of need to know a little about web hosting.. and be able to choose the right one. There are plenty of free hosting on the web but some can be pretty hard to understand how to work with it.

I’ve had my fair share of trails and errors with these hostings.. and found that they were hard not only on your readers but for those working on it. The lemon is not only for eating.. nor for decoration.. it is also a good natural and organic cleaner and can be use to zest up your housework.. and cost very little. But of course if you don’t have lemon.. you can use other citrus fruit.

I didn’t know that using a lemon to rub your faucets can remove lime scale and hard water stain, i hear it works for porcelain too. No more stinky insects spray .. from now on.. for you can rub fresh orange or lemon peels over your skin and keep those horrid insects away. And if you have chicken shit neighbours like mine.. who lets their cats and dogs shit all over your lawn, mix some orange peels and coffee grounds and distribute them around their favorite spot. And if they still cannot take the hint.. lay a second batch and moisture them with a bit of water.

Still can’t take the hint..?? POISON THE NEIGHBOUR.. !! MUAHHAHAHA!! ok.. ok.. i was kidding.

When you look at my babysitter, you wouldn’t think she needs acne treatment, but just the other day .. she asked me to look for some acne products for her because she has acne. I was of course shocked.. because i don’t see any on the surface of her face, well .. not visible anyways. But she explained that her acnes were inside her skin.. and it grows from inside.  I never knew that could happen of course.. what an eye-opener for me, you learn something new everything eh.

I love shopping and if you know my friends and I, you know we really love shopping. But we only shop where there is the best bargains and wherelse can one get best buy except at www.bestbuy.com. All my girlfriends and myself vouch for best buy because they do have some very awesome deals.

Remember Elizabeth Smart..?? the kid who was kidnapped.. and held captive by a drifter .. who did some home repair work for her family at knife point for a good 9 months. If you don’t I can understand.. afterall, it had been like 5 yrs. I remembered it all too clearly because it was at that time.. that I just got pregnant with my own kid. Looks like she is doing really well.. and she was able to put her past behind her. Read all about her .. in People’s magazine.

Wow..!! George Clooney ex or soon to be ex girlfriend is wild..!!! Maybe .. Georgie is too old to handle her.. muahhaha!! Looks like the girl has stuff lined up for the future with Playboy… and Georgie prolly don’t like that .. more like it. I’ve just finished watching Lost Season 4. I know..!! i know..!! it took me sometime.. because i was so engrossed with my chinese shows.. and in fact .. i was quite ready to skip it… but am glad.. i didn’t. I’ll have to say .. Season 4 was pretty good.. and started to make more sense… and a glimpse of what the future holds too.. for those who survived.. and left the island. The sad part is.. Jack doesn’t seems to be doing so well.. at the end. I can’t wait for the next season.. hopefully it’s a wee bit longer this time.
