As a website owner, I find that free web directory works good for us as it is a good solution to seek to improve our link popularity and increase our traffic. By submitting our website, not only do we get a direct link into one of the inner pages of the directory, it would be in a chosen category that we want. With my listing, we get our website title and URL and a brief description up and noticed.
Not all web directory for free but web directories are popularly used by not only the webmasters but just about anyone who is into the internet business. Free directories allow the internet to collect relevant links to their websites. I think this is such a great way to promote one’s business. So the more directories you submit your site to, the better it is. Finding one that is search engine friendly and easy for submission is what i look for in any web directory. So if you asked me if i think free web directory are useful or not, i would definitely say yes. Afterall, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
