Currently airing.. this is about 2 men having the same birthdays.. and 2 have different fate. I just started on this tvb drama.. so am unable to give alot of comments. But so far .. it is not bad.. and i think it is heading towards a chick flick kinda drama. 20 episodes in total, and i’m just done 4. Bosco Wong and Kevin Cheng I am sure you all know these 2 men. While one of the leading lady .. Natalie Tong doesn’t really impress me .. her voice sounds like a annoying bird chirping… and acting.. so-so. But Niki Chow aka Chow Lei Ki .. new to me .. seems to have alot more potential. Watch it .. and grade for yourself.
Lydia Shum aka Fei Fei aka Fei Jie was put to rest in peace in Vancouver yesterday, together where her parents were laid. Fei Fei was a hong kong entertainer that i’ve watched while growing up. She was like forever there.. and her infectious smile, the 60s glasses and the hairdo was all about her.. if you know what i mean. I’ve always loved Fei Fei and I’m pretty sure alot of Hong Kong entertainers feel the same way about her. I can see the joy some had, when she was awarded lifetime achievement last year. Saw this window at Apartment Therapy and of course i loved it but my only problem..?? my windows .. or those that i can turn into a cosy corner has a heater at the bottom of the window. And i can’t just tear away the heater.. because that is major work. So what can i do..?? the only window available .. is the one next to the entrance.. so i’m gonna have to think about it.. and use it wisely. Anyone got any suggestions..??

Even i can get to like eggs with these funky looking egg boilers from Eiko. What a awesome invention. Simply hang the egg cups containing the eggs over the edge of a pot of boiling water, use the colors to help you tell which eggs requires how long, just in case some like poached eggs instead of half boil eggs. Remove with handles that is not hot and run under cool water and use it as an egg cup if you must. $19 for 4 of them.. but of course my mother-in-law would think differently.
We owned our own business and because we are good bosses we buy exam gloves or the employees to wear, whenever they need to clean the store. I am one who strongly believes that one should do what you want others to do unto you. Sure we have to spend a little money, but it was all worth it because the employees will get a piece of mind and have no worries about allergies and other stuff, thus work better.

We are up in the city.. for my immigration stuff.. final ones for citizenship.. so of course.. we donch have alot to watch.. even though they do have cable in the hotel we are in. So we headed out to Blockbusters wanting to get something for the man to watch.. so he doesn’t get too, too bored.. but in the end.. we ended up getting some good movies for me. Waitress caught my attention because of Kerri Russell .. i used to watch her in Felicity… and loved her. So i wanted to see how she is doing after haven’t seen her for so long in tvs and movies. But she was pretty good. Love the movie.. and love the cast.. very southern american show.. about someone being trapped in a marriage.. and she makes awesome pie. Oh by the way, we never rent our movies.. we buy them. I have a few picked at Blockbusters.. because they are so cheap these days… so watch out for more reviews. I even managed to get a chinese show.. woohoo..!

Michael Tao is the lead in this new TVB series.. actually relatively new. But I do like the tvb series so far.. only 5 episodes.. but so far it is not bad, i wished they would concentrate more on cooking than anything. I think it is gonna be an awesome show..but more on cooking would be the best.

With more than 1000 pictures found in his laptop.. and new pictures of 3 other young women .. and starlets who had already been informed by the HK police… i wonder when this is all gonna end. After 10 hrs of interrogation by HK police… it is said that Edison Chen cannot wait to get outta Hong Kong as soon as possible.
If he really did it himself.. will he gain fame from it..?? or was it too high a price to pay..?? time will only tell i guess. Edison Chen is currently staying in Four Seasons while he is in Hong Kong.

I mostly don’t buy alot of magazines, not like when I was still living in Asia. Back home, we have a few dedicated magazines that covers topic that not only interest the people but the place where people can identify with. Be it a restaurant, a art gallery, or a special event in the city, it was closed to my heart and I faithfully bought them.
After being in Canada for 7 yrs, I’ve noticed that most magazine on the newsstand don’t really appeal to me anymore. I guess it had to do with the same kind of gossips and news and nothing substantial, therefore I rarely waste my money to buy any. My grandmother had diabetes and she was one tough cookie who loved the outdoors and shopping. She cannot be house-bound, she was very active till the end. But with her medical condition and her need to be constantly on the go, we had trick her into wearing a medical id for obvious reasons. And we are most definitely glad that we did that because it really gave us a peace of mind that should anything should happened .. she will get the right medical assistance immediately.
We all love shopping .. but me and the man but when it comes to buying things, we only buy when there is a sale or a discount. But with the use of Amazon coupon code i don’t even have to wait for a blow out sale or end of the season sale. It’s amazing how much one can save even with free shipping. It does make it all more worthwhile and stretching the penny is what everyone should do.
