What a funny movie..! Cecilia Cheung is a compulsive shopper.. ! Funny and kinda hard to believe. The Shopaholics is a fast and furious screwball comedy that relies on speed and repetitive shenanigans instead of a solid screenplay or acting - which is fine. And so funny that Cecilia Cheung is called Fong fong fong in the movie. Pretty funny movie… and although it was released in 2006, i only got to watch it recently.
It is certainly not easy being a woman .. and a single one is even harder. Everytime, you go for a family gathering or a wedding, you have some old lady.. a friend of the family .. asking you when it’s your turn. Tell me you haven’t had this experience before.. !

I’m sure you all know by now how cold it is here for us in Canada. I saw this morning at Aida’s blog.. about her sewing leg warmers for her baby with her new sewing machine. She is very creative for sure.
But i can’t help feeling how stupid i was. .and never thought of getting them for my lil’ brat. Afterall, it had to be very cold for her too… even if it was just from the house to the car . .and then the car to the store. Sometimes we have to walk quite a distance.. depending on parking. Well I donch have a sew machine.. so of course i go on line at Etsy to search for some. And they are not expensive at all. At 8.50 a pair.. they really do look nice and affordable eh.
I don’t know if it is just me.. or is it just mostly modern woman and man out there but I am so very drawn to anything advance and beautifully designed. When i buy something for my home, not only has it got to be well-designed and useful.. but affordable too. I don’t mind paying abit more for things, just as long as they are worth buying. My grandmother used to say, that you get what you pay for.
