Wow..! i’m so outdated.. !! so many TVB actresses .. are becoming first time mummies. Flora Chan and Melissa Ng .. both my favourite actresses just gave birth recently to a boy and a gal. Like every ordinary woman.. Flora looked every bit like a after pregnant mummy.. with her belly still protruding. And i’ve noticed that all these successful actresses are in their late 30s before having their first baby. I think it is the latest trend here.

So whosoever told you it’s the weather.. they are so wrong.

I’ve always wanted to learn more about electric guitar but never ever gotten a chance to. It always seems such a difficult thing for me to do, like where do I start right..?? Afterall, I’m not a teenager anymore, and it gets a wee bit embarrassing just to go to a music store and ask about it from a much younger sales person. Winter can get very cold here and as a matter of fact, it is already turning cold and chilly really quick during the night.  Winter is also quite hard for us Canadians, so any way we can keep warm, we would.

Our garage does not have a fire place, so it can get very cold even when we are in the garage even for just a wee bit. Therefore, this year we are looking to put in space heaters as they are simple and affordable. It can also save us quite abit of money in the heating bill and will serve the purpose of keeping the garage comfortable and warm, thus making it easier to bring in our groceries after shopping and we don’t need to rush and hurry and get into the house. Most of all, besides the savings,  a space heater is also clean, safe and very convenient. Our cold garage days are over and the man has got no excuse this year when it comes to cleaning the car in the garage during winter.

What else is Britney Spears up to..?? nothing good. .as you can see.. facing more legal charges for a hit and run. And driving without a valid license. Just a few days ago, she was ordered by the court to undergo a random drug and alcohol test twice a week in her child custody dispute with her ex. She must also meet with a parenting coach.

Britney, Britney..!! what are you doing..???!!!?? Get your act together..!! once upon a time you were the idol of all the teenagers around the world..!

Good lampshade and fashionable ones are hard to find. It’s a really very personal taste when it comes to lampshades.

For the ones in my bedroom, i prefer a really romantic one.. and in nice creamy color. I love lampshade that are small .. not huge ones. But for the ones in the living room, i need the lampshade to be of a bigger size. I especially love those chandelier beaded lampshades but my spouse thinks they are too girly for our bedroom. What a bummer..!

Sometimes, I donch understand why ppl would go for pirated copies of Office or XP or anything. Afterall, you all know that it gets buggy after a few months..and you are going to run into trouble with it. For those who ain’t geeky or computer literate like me.. i’m sure i would be stumped.. should something comes up with an error.. and like me.. i’m sure you are gonna freak right out..!

So why do ppl who have money and all.. still wanna go for those pirated copies..?? i really donch understand it completely.  If i had as much money as they do.. i wouldn’t want to have anything to do with pirated copies.  Firstly, it’s wrong.. secondly .. too much of a hassle.. and thirdly.. it’s against the copyright laws.  So why risked it right..??  But nope.. 9 outta 10 customers that come  into our store.. they have pirated copies of something in their puter.. and when we suggest they get the legit copy.. all they think is we wanting more money outta them.  But it’s far from the truth.. because by getting a legit copy of XP.. you actually gained so much.. by just having all those updates and recovery done quickly.

When my grandmother was ill and had to stay in the hospital for months, the hospital had been really great to her, taking care of her every need. My Grammie had the stroke, so you know it’s hard for her to move one side of her body. She felt really handicapped when it first happened and needed help with everything.

The hospital was very good to her, by arranging for a fully electrical bed for her and when she was a little better, she could received visitors and was able to maneuver the bed herself, so she can sit up and chat with friends, family and relatives who visited her in the hospital. I really think it helped not only my grammie, it helped us alot because we didn’t have to lift her up each time she wants to turn or got tired of sleeping in the same position. The bed was fully electrical operated and all adjustments were made using an electric controller.

When my grammie was ready to go home, the hospital offered to rent us one of those electric bed for our convenience and we just jumped at it. Understanding hospital beds were important to us and we were glad that we were recommended one that had railings on it, some even had orthopedic support and the adjustment for the bed is in full control of the patient.  And a quiet bed is also important for an older person like my Grammie because she gets really irritated with loud noises.  We had no regrets, renting the fully automated bed for my Grammie and am glad we didn’t buy one, because, she didn’t need it very much longer after she came home, she recovered shortly.

It’s nice isn’t it .. not having to ever wear your clothings twice. Overflowing outta Paris Hilton wardrobe are clothes, gowns and shoes that she has more than she can ever wear. So she is gonna give them away to charities, like orphanage and children’s hospital.

Now I hope she meant.. she is auctioning it away, so those money can go to the orphanage and children’s hospital.. and not really thinking of those poor kids.. wearing those sequin gowns..?? and 6 inch shoes??? Gonna to be funny if she thinks she is doing charity by letting those poor kids wear her shiny clothes or skimpy skirts.

I hear ATV is trying to lure Ada Choi at a $8 Million HK Dollar contract. For those who’ve followed Ada Choi would know that she had been with TVB for a long, long time. ATV plans to promote Ada as their “Tai Kai Che”.

I’ve watched Ada Choi in TVB since she started, from a not so elegant actress, to one full of family problems with her mum… and gambling issues. I think the favorite role i liked her alot in was Healing Hands. Ada Choi has come a long way.. if you ask me.

I’ve always love taking pictures even before my daughter was born. I snapped anything that was interesting because I used to travel alot for work and i wanted interesting stories to tell my folks back home. And shortly after my daughter was born, my spouse decided that it was time to look into getting a digital camera instead of using my grand old one that takes film, which can be very expensive if we didn’t buy one.

Man will always be man when it comes to electronic things, so alot of research later, a Canon Powershot S400 was bought. It has alot of great features and easy to use and I love it to bits. 4 mega pixel pictures, a 3 minute video clips with sound, 3x optical zoom and my favorite feature has got to be the LCD screen. With a rechargeable Li-on battery, we even save on buying batteries for it.

With more than 10,000 pictures and video taken by this little camera for the last 3 yrs, I would say we got our moneys worth. The camera still works great but the spouse is eyeing on getting a Nikon D300 and he’s just waiting for the official price. I can’t wait to get my hands on it and try it out.

PB just started an order with the supplier.. and yes.. we are getting it air shipped outta Vancouver .. and it should be here before the release date… but we ain’t banking our money on this game .. because as usual.. ppl are gonna not come in and get the games they order .. if they can get it at the mall for 5 bucks cheaper.
