Finding an electronic repair store in our small town is quite a task, the only one we have is for TVs, stereos and small appliances and that itself cost a fortune to repair. High Voltage power supply repair for industrial equipments is a specialized field and not just any Tom, Dick and Harry can do it.

And we all know how expensive it is to repair any electronic stuff, so a free evaluation with a price quotation before repair is what I would be looking for.  And a quick turn around for any items to be repaired is even better.  I have repair shops telling me it takes like 3 months to fix my TV because they don’t have enough staff.  Now that could be quite devastating I would say.

Many years ago, when i was in Hong Kong for work, someone told me that the Hong Kong gals had good skin/complexion because of the 4 seasons they experienced. And since it is always hot in Singapore.. i too came to the same conclusion .. it is because of the four seasons.

But let me tell you right now.. and the myth is incorrect.. because here in Canada.. i experienced the 4 seasons too.. but my skin didn’t get any better.. in fact worst.. because the cold weather dried my skin up so fast.. i can’t replenished the water for my skin fast enough.

Even in the Falls.. when the weather is turning cold already.. in September.. it is hard on my skin. No amount of mask seems to help. It is quite the torture for my skin. So why do Hong Kong Gals have great skin..??? I really think it’s because they really take care of their skin.. and outlook and has nothing to do with the weather. So whosoever told you it’s the weather.. they are so wrong.

I’ve always wanted to learn more about electric guitar but never ever gotten a chance to. It always seems such a difficult thing for me to do, like where do I start right..?? Afterall, I’m not a teenager anymore, and it gets a wee bit embarrassing just to go to a music store and ask about it from a much younger sales person. Plus what about which guitar to choose if one wants to Buy a guitar, there are just endless to choose from.

OS848 Foot Revitaliser 2 is what i am eyeing on for Christmas this year. At $229 Canadian Dollars, I think it is pretty affordable. It is said to be sleek and portable .. and the only reason why i am getting it .. is because of health reason. As you all know we do not have the traditional reflexology here.. and the chinese believe . .that everything ends at your feet, so by doing this foot massage thingie.. i’m hoping for a healthier life..?? or even making my blood flow properly is good.

This is gonna be huge for Kumar and his show at The Esplanade Theatre that holds more than 1000 seats, only proves that our resident premier drag queen is still very much in our heart.

Winter can get very cold here and as a matter of fact, it is already turning cold and chilly really quick during the night.  Winter is also quite hard for us Canadians, so any way we can keep warm, we would.

Our garage does not have a fire place, so it can get very cold even when we are in the garage even for just a wee bit. Therefore, this year we are looking to put in space heaters as they are simple and affordable. It can also save us quite abit of money in the heating bill and will serve the purpose of keeping the garage comfortable and warm, thus making it easier to bring in our groceries after shopping and we don’t need to rush and hurry and get into the house. Most of all, besides the savings,  a space heater is also clean, safe and very convenient. Our cold garage days are over and the man has got no excuse this year when it comes to cleaning the car in the garage during winter.

What else is Britney Spears up to..?? nothing good. .as you can see.. facing more legal charges for a hit and run. And driving without a valid license. Just a few days ago, she was ordered by the court to undergo a random drug and alcohol test twice a week in her child custody dispute with her ex. She must also meet with a parenting coach.

Britney, Britney..!! what are you doing..???!!!?? Get your act together..!! once upon a time you were the idol of all the teenagers around the world..!

Good lampshade and fashionable ones are hard to find. It’s a really very personal taste when it comes to lampshades.

For the ones in my bedroom, i prefer a really romantic one.. and in nice creamy color. I love lampshade that are small .. not huge ones. But for the ones in the living room, i need the lampshade to be of a bigger size. I especially love those chandelier beaded lampshades but my spouse thinks they are too girly for our bedroom. What a bummer..!

Sometimes, I donch understand why ppl would go for pirated copies of Office or XP or anything. Afterall, you all know that it gets buggy after a few months..and you are going to run into trouble with it. For those who ain’t geeky or computer literate like me.. i’m sure i would be stumped.. should something comes up with an error.. and like me.. i’m sure you are gonna freak right out..!

So why do ppl who have money and all.. still wanna go for those pirated copies..?? i really donch understand it completely.  If i had as much money as they do.. i wouldn’t want to have anything to do with pirated copies.  Firstly, it’s wrong.. secondly .. too much of a hassle.. and thirdly.. it’s against the copyright laws.  So why risked it right..??  But nope.. 9 outta 10 customers that come  into our store.. they have pirated copies of something in their puter.. and when we suggest they get the legit copy.. all they think is we wanting more money outta them.  But it’s far from the truth.. because by getting a legit copy of XP.. you actually gained so much.. by just having all those updates and recovery done quickly.

It’s nice isn’t it .. not having to ever wear your clothings twice. Overflowing outta Paris Hilton wardrobe are clothes, gowns and shoes that she has more than she can ever wear. So she is gonna give them away to charities, like orphanage and children’s hospital.

Now I hope she meant.. she is auctioning it away, so those money can go to the orphanage and children’s hospital.. and not really thinking of those poor kids.. wearing those sequin gowns..?? and 6 inch shoes??? Gonna to be funny if she thinks she is doing charity by letting those poor kids wear her shiny clothes or skimpy skirts.

I hear ATV is trying to lure Ada Choi at a $8 Million HK Dollar contract. For those who’ve followed Ada Choi would know that she had been with TVB for a long, long time. ATV plans to promote Ada as their “Tai Kai Che”.

I’ve watched Ada Choi in TVB since she started, from a not so elegant actress, to one full of family problems with her mum… and gambling issues. I think the favorite role i liked her alot in was Healing Hands. Ada Choi has come a long way.. if you ask me.

I’ve always love taking pictures even before my daughter was born. I snapped anything that was interesting because I used to travel alot for work and i wanted interesting stories to tell my folks back home. And shortly after my daughter was born, my spouse decided that it was time to look into getting a digital camera instead of using my grand old one that takes film, which can be very expensive if we didn’t buy one.

Man will always be man when it comes to electronic things, so alot of research later, a Canon Powershot S400 was bought. It has alot of great features and easy to use and I love it to bits. 4 mega pixel pictures, a 3 minute video clips with sound, 3x optical zoom and my favorite feature has got to be the LCD screen. With a rechargeable Li-on battery, we even save on buying batteries for it.

With more than 10,000 pictures and video taken by this little camera for the last 3 yrs, I would say we got our moneys worth. The camera still works great but the spouse is eyeing on getting a Nikon D300 and he’s just waiting for the official price. I can’t wait to get my hands on it and try it out.

I haven’t watched this movie yet, because it had been out of the store everyday.. and everyone was looking for it. So of course.. customer comes first. I saw some negative reviews about it.. but all the actresses .. are great actresses.. like Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman, so how bad can the movie be right..?? I donch care very much for Lindsay Lohan.. but for the other two.. i would definitely watch it.

I’ve just started on this new tvb series.. and pretty much like it.. from the beginning. Why..?? because my favourite Bobby AuYung is in this series. It’s a 25 episodes series.. so some watching to do. But it’s the modern type .. that I like.. so you can expect me to be chasing it big time. For those in the States or even in Canada.. and wanna watch this show.. please let me know.. and I’ll get PB to let you in on how to get it ….

For those who don’t know.. we owned a Computer & Entertainment Store for the last 8 yrs and a bit. The Entertainment derives from the fact that we rent movies, trade, sell and buy console games and systems .. and pretty much everything.. from printer to its ink .. and anything that makes money.

Recently, we embarked in some new products .. but we are unable to announce it right now.. because we have bigger things planned for this product.

If you haven’t been to PB’s blog.. go right ahead and visit.. because i’ll tell you this.. even though he just started blogging.. he is alot better in writing.. and expressing himself.. than I am. On top of it.. if he is in a good mood.. you will catch some funny reading as well. Nope.. he does diss .. he doesn’t bitch and he definitely doesn’t pimp himself enough.. not like some blogger does.. at every darn sec they get.. to the point of irritation.

Newest release for the PS2, the first Juiced rented out pretty well for us at the store. This game evolves around current street racing. So that players can experienced real life racing like they’ve never done before. So if you want to test your racing skill, you know that this is a good game.

Everyone is coming into the store asking if we would have Halo 3 or if they can pre-order it. Nope.. it hasn’t been released yet and it’s estimated date is Sept 25, this year. Looks like everyone can’t get their hands on it . .judging from all those that inquire and put a deposit for them. Hopefully, we have enough to go around and not disappoint anyone.

Is the game any good..?? i wouldn’t know.. but PB said.. it is supposedly to be the best of the 3. And it looks like Microsoft and Bill Gates ain’t sparing no expense in promoting this game. You can go online with your Xbox Live Gold for free for 2 days. Anyone into Halo 3..???

Updated : I checked with PB this morning and he said the normal ones are at $75.00, the $85 – 90 for special edition, $175 for the Legendary. And please .. please.. please.. please.. donch come in and ask if they make it for the Xbox or PS2 !!
